FauveMuseum Biography
Thomas C. Doncourt Born Dec.10, 1955 Elmhurst Queens
Tom has been playing keyboards in a variety of situations since the early seventies. Basd in the New York
area he is best known for his work on the Mellotron and other eccentric analog instruments. He is a founding
member of the american progressive rock band Cathedral. Tom is also known for incorporating an acoustic
percussion element into his music. The 80's saw him expand this facet into an experimental istrument
workshop. In 1990 Tom created a vehicle for his solo work called "Fauve". This was expanded to
"FauveMuseum" in 2009. "FauveMuseum currently includes Chuck Bernklau on bass and Penelope Thomas
on vocals. At the present Tom is performing in underground N.Y.C. venues with the experimental ensemble
"Globular Cluster", is planning a live show for "FauveMuseum" and writing material for a new CD.
