Cameo is een Amerikaanse band. Deze werd opgericht in 1974 en was een afsplitsing van de band, The New York City Players. De zanger van Cameo is Larry Blackmon.
De band produceert muziek in het genre funk en rhythm-and-blues. In 1986 had de band een Amerikaanse nummer 1 hit genaamd Word Up!.
