The Rumour Said Fire won &#147;P3 Talentet&#148; (P3 talent prize) at the P3 Guld award show 2010. This was argumented with the following:

&#147;P3&#146;s talent prize goes to a band who are better at performing as a part-singing male voice choir, than they are at programming autotune. To a band who write lyrics which make sense to study, and, with a mere 4(*) song EP, have brought us hope of something new and great. It has so far only been a rumour, but what a rumour. We believe in it, The Rumour Said Fire.&#148;
