Gone, Gone, Gone is the tenth episode of HBO'S hit TV-series, True Blood's fifth season, while the 58th episode overall. It first aired on HBO on August 12, 2012 and is directed by Scott Winant and written by Alexander Woo. The series is loosely based on The Sookie Stackhouse Series, while the fifth season is loosely based on Dead as a Doornail, the fifth book in the book series. The series is usually based on each book in chronological order in the Sookie Stackhouse series, while the title of the episode refers to a particular event featured in the episode and a song, which is played at the end credits in the episode. The episode features Sookie Stackhouse and her brother Jason as they try to peice together their parents murders while Jason finds a scroll; Elijah forces Tara and Pam to do his bidding; Eric is captured by the Authority; after the previous episode's events, Sam and Luna try to rescue Emma from Russell. The episode is preceded by Everybody Wants to Rule the World and its events are continued by Sunset. The season is nearly over, as the only episodes after this, are Sunset and Save Yourself.
