Vikings is a history/drama show that follows the protagonist Ragnar Lothbrok and his attempts to sail west to invade England. Other characters involve his boat builder Floki and rival kings and earls. Initially his idea to sail west is rejected although the series later covers the historical invasion of the west by vikings.
