Nu werkelijk iedereen op de plastic Guitar Hero gitaartjes aan het hengsten is, gaan we In DJ Hero scratchen en gliden op plastic draaitafels. Natuurlijk wordt DJ Hero geleverd met deze bijbehorende draaitafel!

Het apparaat waarmee DJ Hero, het spirituele broertje van de Guitar Hero-serie, wordt gespeeld, ziet er precies zo uit als een simpele draaitafel. Er zit een draaischijf op die je kunt ronddraaien, met op die schijf een drietal knoppen. Afhankelijk of je links- of rechtshandig bent, kan je extra knoppen aan de linker- of rechterkant van de draaitafel vastmaken. Deze extra knoppen zijn absoluut noodzakelijk. Zo dien je schakelaars om te zetten om tijdelijk één van de drie tracks, overeenkomend met de drie knoppen op de draaischijf, in- of uit te schakelen.

DJ Hero zit vol met de grootste namen uit de DJ-wereld. De muziekstijl is voornamelijk gebaseerd op hiphop, een beetje gemixt met dance muziek. Zo zal je remixes tegenkomen van nummers van de Beastie Boys en Eminem, maar ook van Marvin Gaye, Eric Prydz en Benni Benassi.

Mocht je zelf nog geen DJ zijn, dan is DJ Hero het dichtste bij de werkelijkheid dan dat jij ooit zult komen!

  Activision really handicapped this games Downloadable content and you are
  unable to transfer any content to the SD card.  Expect some DLC Addons anyways
  from your Favorite Wii group :-P
