The film, which aired on television on May 5,
follows Audi Sport Team Joest's attempt to claim its tenth victory at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race last year.

Truth in 24 II: Every Second Counts,
a fittingly fast-paced documentary narrated by bullet-headed action star Jason Statham
The film, which had its U.S. premiere in L.A. on April 26 and on-air debut on Speed TV on May 5,
focuses on Audi Sport Team Joest at the legendary French car race known as 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Audi crew's last remaining R18 TDI in the competition barely beat out three
hard-gunning Peugeot 908s to win after its two other R18s were taken out
in spectacular accidents earlier in the 4,800-kilometer endurance run.
It was the fourth-narrowest margin of victory in the history of Le Mans.
The first Truth in 24, which also traced the ongoing
Le Mans rivalry with strong competitor Peugeot,
showed at AFI Fest in 2008. Reinhold Joest's team now has more wins than any other participating at Le Mans.
24 Hours of Le Mans, run along a circuit course of closed public roads, has been held annually since 1923.
The distance is more than six times further than the Indianapolis 500. 2012's competition will begin on June 16.
