AGHARTA was the creative vehicle of Dutch instrumentalist and composer Martin De Boer. Little is known about this outfit today, but two productions from them were issued: The self-titled EP Agharta in 1990 and the album Shades of Secrets in 1992. Both De Boer and drummer Bouman, the other permanent member, were also members of Dutch power metal outfit Steel Against Steel, a band that folded in 1993.
