Mr. Acker Bilk (Bernard Stanley Bilk) and Bent Fabric (Bent Fabricius-Bjerre) join forces on this 1969 album "Cocktails for two". The first on the clarinet and the second on piano, together accompanied by the Leon Young String Chorale. Both Acker Bilk and Fabric had one song that made them world famous instantly. In 1962 Acker Bilk wrote "Stranger on the shore", which was originally called "Jenny" after his daughter. In 1961 Fabric (using the pseudonym Frank Björn) wrote the song "Omkring et Flygel" (Around the piano) for the television show with the same name he had on Danish television. In 1962 the song would become world famous as "Alley cat". Both titles are on this album.
