The Eagles Farewell I Tour (2)

Het fenomenale succes van de Eagles gedurende 3 decennia is bekend. De Eagles weten op basis van country en rock een stijl te ontwikkelen die een groot publiek aanspreekt en scoren hits als "One Of These Nights", "Lyin' Eyes", "Take It Easy", "Desperado", "New Kid In Town" en niet te vergeten "Hotel California". Wereldwijd zijn van het totale oeuvre inmiddels meer dan 120 miljoen exemplaren verkocht. De enige DVD van de Eagles, "Hell Freezes Over" (1994) is bovendien de best verkochte muziek DVD allertijden! 
Op 1 juli 2005 verscheen eindelijk een nieuwe (dubbel) DVD getiteld "Farewell I Tour". Dit concert is op 14, 15 en 17 november 2004 in Melbourne opgenomen tijdens de afscheidstournee van de Eagles. Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh en Timothy B. Schmit spelen tijdens deze show alle klassiekers en worden begeleid door 8-koppige band.
