Foghat is een Britse rockband, die zijn hoogtepunt beleefde van midden tot eind jaren 70 van de 20e eeuw. Hun stijl kan worden omschreven als "bluesrock," gedomineerd door elektrische en slide gitaar. De band heeft vijf gouden platen gekregen.
