Children 18:3 is a Christian punk band from Morris, Minnesota. The band is composed of home-schooled siblings David, Lee Marie and Seth. The lead vocals are shared by David and Lee Marie with their brother Seth on the drums. Their band's name refers to the Bible verse Matthew 18:3, "and He said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."
Children 18:3 was originally formed in 1999 and released two independent EPs. After the band won the battle of the bands at Club 3 Degrees (Minneapolis' premier Christian club) in 2005, they got recognition from Tooth & Nail Records CEO Brandon Ebel, who signed the band in January 2007. The band released their self-titled debut on February 26, 2008. Their first single, "You Know We're All So Fond of Dying", reached a peak position of #17 on ChristianRock.Net. The band also released the "All My Balloons" official music video and the follow-up radio singles "Homemade Valentine" and "Mock the Music" from their self-titled album.
The band toured 2008 and 2009, playing songs they were writing for the 2010 release Rain's 'A Comin'. After recording the album, Children 18:3 briefly toured Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota with former KoRn guitarist Brian Head Welch, The Classic Crime and many others. The new album was officially released on June 29, 2010. So far, they have had success with the singles "Lost So Long" and "Cover Your Eyes", to which they also released a music video.
