Post Description
"Gozalo" is the second release album by the creators of "La Pantera Mambo" - La 33 from Bogotá, Colombia. Maintaining the band's '70s urban style salsa, "Gozalo" presents us with a variety of rhythms including descarga, bomba, montuno, bolero and latin jazz; twelve written by the band members - six of which by the director Sergio Mejia. The other three compositions are "Plinio Guzmán" (Lucho Bermúdez); "La Tormenta / Sandstorm" (Charlie Palmieri) and "My Favorite Things" (Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein). Enjoy it, as "Gozalo" is packed up with dance music as well as some groovy tunes. My favorite dance tunes: El Robo; Te Lo Voy A Devolver; Gozalo; La Tormenta / Sand Storm and My Favorite Things.
Musicians: Sergio Mejias, director y bajo; Santiago Mejias, piano; Guillermo Cell, David Cantillo (Malpelo) and Pablo Martínez, voz; Cipriano Rojas (Ciro), congas; Juan David Fernández (Palo), timbal; Diego Sanchez, bongos; Juan Felipe Cárdenas, saxo; Roland Nieto, trompeta; Vladimir Romero, trombón; Jose Miguel Vega (El Profe), trombón bajo.
